ArkForte Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
At ArkForte, protecting the privacy and safety of students, educators, and schools is our foundational commitment. This Privacy Policy details our strict adherence to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and modern international data privacy laws.
1. The Student Privacy Pledge
We do not sell student personal data. We do not use student personal information for behavioral advertising or commercial profiling. Student data is processed exclusively on behalf of the educational institution to deliver device management and duty-of-care safety services.
2. Data Collection & Processing
ArkForte collects only the minimal technical telemetry necessary to provide MDM fleet management and real-time safety triage:
- Device hardware specifications, operating system version, and battery health telemetry.
- DNS query categories for malicious website prevention and SafeSearch enforcement.
- Safety keyword triggers processed securely to detect imminent threats (such as self-harm or severe peer harassment).
3. Data Encryption & Security
All communications between student endpoints and the ArkForte Cloud are encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 encryption. Data stored at rest is secured via AES-256 encryption within dedicated institutional databases.
4. School Administrative Rights & Deletion
Educational institutions retain full ownership and control of all institution-related records. School administrators may request full data export or permanent deletion at any time by contacting privacy@arkforte.com.
